See, there's a lil' story behind this pic:

Shadow is the typical rebel and fighting guy, and even after 2 days in hospital because of it, he still wanted more, but as he was weak... he just couldn't handle it. A few minutes later, Sonic arrived there and helped Shadow. After some walking and talking, they came to this:

"You should call me, 'cuz those guys are dangerous, y'know"
"..."
"What?"
"Why are you doing this, anyway? there's no reason for you to help me..."
"Wanna know why?"
"..."
"Hey, that's what friends are for"
"..."

Then, he smiled
